Rand Soellner, AIA/NCARB has been a licensed architect since 1982, for a total of 28 years, although he has been involved in the field of architecture for 40 years. He is licensed and registered in 4 states in the USA: NC, SC, FL & WA. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is also U.S. DOE/EPA Energy Star Partner.
Some of his projects include dozens of high-end residences in scenic places like the mountains. He was also architect of record on about half of the buildings for Jurassic Park for Universal Studios (Orlando). He designed several projects for the Corps of Engineers, NASA, Air Force, VA Medical Centers, major hospitals, parking garages, office buildings, Orlando Int'l Airport renovations and additions, Palm Beach Airport renovations and additions, Univ. of Central FL projects, City of Orlando, Orange County Government, Fire Stations, middle schools, high schools, elementary schools, and major industrial facilities and high-profile restaurants.
He has also developed billions of dollars of master planning and programming for major governmental entities, including his being the programming and concept architect for the new Florida Solar Energy Center. He has also helped municipalities like the City of DeLand, FL in programming and managing other A/Es on projects, on time and under budget. Soellner also was the architect of numerous laboratories and office buildings for the State of Florida, with a spotless track record.
Some of his designs were recently featured in a full color coffee table book called "House With A View", available through Amazon.com. Other major architects throughout the world were included in this book, such as Mario Botta, Richard Meier and other luminaries of the architectural world.
Soellner's forensic architectural services has helped governmental and other entities resolve their issues of water penetration, structural movement, HVAC cleanliness and other issues. Soellner typically analyzes the buildings in question and takes photos and video and includes this is an electronic report and also is available for expert witness services.
