Mr. Ward began his environmental career in 1987 and joined ESP Associates, P.A. in 2004. He manages the environmental services department at the firm and is a registered professional geologist in North and South Carolina. During his career, Mr. Ward has effectively managed numerous environmental projects including NPL sites, industrial sites, petroleum distribution terminals and pipelines, UST sites, plating facilities and landfills. His environmental experience includes multi-media sampling, stratigraphic mapping, aquifer characterization, monitor/recovery well network design and installation, fate and transport modeling, remedial system design, installation and operation, RBCA, expert witness, Phase I ESAs, environmental permitting, and compliance management. He has used electromagnetic conductivity, GPR, gravity, and seismic refraction surveys to locate USTs, define subsurface stratigraphy, and delineate contaminant plumes.
