Erik Rosenwood is a partner at Hamilton Moon. He received a B.A. from Whitman College in 1996, an M.Litt. from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 1998, and his J.D. cum laude from Washington & Lee University where he was a member of the ODK honor society. Erik focuses his practice in the representation of Architects, Engineers, and other Design Professionals, representing clients at all stages of litigation and in commercial arbitration, as well as preparation and negotiation of contracts and advising clients on risk allocation and insurance issues in the contracting process and during design and construction phases. Along with the other members of DPSG, Erik is a frequent presenter to design professional groups and conducts in-house seminars on claims management and risk avoidance. Prior to joining Hamilton Moon, Mr. Rosenwood was an associate with the litigation team at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, with a practice focused in commercial litigation and federal criminal defense. Before that, Mr. Rosenwood interned in the legal department of Virgin Atlantic Airways in their Crawley, U.K. headquarters.
